Inventory: Searching Dangerous Goods Item Profile's

A Dangerous Goods Item Profile is a structured data set that describes hazardous materials and how to handle them safely. It acts like a "safety passport" for items that could pose a risk during transport, storage, or use. These profiles are essential for:

  • Ensuring legal compliance with international transport regulations (IATA, IMDG, ADR)
  • Guiding handlers, carriers, and emergency responders on how to manage the item safely
  • Communicating risk level and handling protocols for each substanc

By maintaining DG profiles, teams can:

  • Streamline shipping and compliance workflow

This Keywords search bar allows you to look for any Dangerous Goods Item Profile's by inputting a related Item Name, Common Name or Technical Name.

If the search results flow into multiple pages, you can navigate pages using the page numbers at the bottom of the screen.

Changing and Sorting Columns

Once a search has started, the Inbound Deliveries will then load in a list format. There is an option to edit the columns displayed, the edit button is located at the left-hand corner of the results table.

In order to sort on a column click on the column heading to change the order of the search results. This will sort only 2 ways of Ascending and Descending.
