Sales Order: Bulk Creating Orders

What is the purpose of uploading/importing file?

Uploading/Importing File allow you to create multiple Sales Orders at the same time by upload/import a file that has all necessary Sales Order information. It can save you a lot of time instead of creating each Sales Order separately.

Get template file

The file to be uploaded must be in correct template. To get the template file, click "Upload File", then click "Download Template". Unzip the downloaded file to get template files with available formats: csv, xls, xlsx.

Prepare file to upload

Choose your template file with your favorite format. Fill in sales order details you want to import.

Note

CSV is the preferred format, as this is also supported in our SFTP

Upload file to preview

Click the upload area, browse to your file or drag and drop file to upload area to upload your file. Progress Bar will fill as Express analyses your file. Once the bar is at 100% the Express will move to the file preview screen.

Warning

If Express does not recognize the format or columns of your file, the file will be rejected. So please ensure you are using the template file in the ZIP that can be downloaded.

Preview & Correct a file

Within the Preview screen you can see how Express has interpreted your file. Any fields that have an error will be shown with Red Text with the error below it, or with a red circle with “!” in it, noting this is a mandatory field

To edit an error or a field, just Double Click on the field and you will be able to directly edit the value.

You can submit the file whenever there is no error left.

Tip

Toggle "Show Errors Only" button to show only the lines that have errors and fix them directly on UI.

Discard file

Click "Discard" button to discard uploaded file and not submit located in the bottom left of the screen

Confirm upload

Click "Submit" to submit file upload, located in the bottom right of the screen. Type "IMP" to the input box and click "Confirm" to confirm import file.

Note

If you encounter difficulties managing a file due to its size, consider dividing the file into smaller parts to facilitate smoother operation. The supported file size limit is determined by the capabilities of your computer where Express is being run.
